I can juggle a 9-5, drop off and pick up my pre-schooler, go grocery shopping, prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, take said pre-schooler to both swimming and basketball practice.
I can read a chapter a night in the latest bestseller, keep up with my daily Bible reading, and spend time in prayer with God.
I can put the pieces together to build a great company, catch up on must-see TV, keep my home clean.
I endured hours of painful labor, walked away from situations that broke me and left me all alone.
But the hardest thing I’ve ever done was not any of the things listed above. It was speaking my truth.
My past was sketchy, shaky, and downright despicable at times, but it was my truth.
It is hard for me to pretend that I was perfect and even harder to admit my wrongs, but living behind a facade would not help me in the long run or encourage anyone else living in similar situations.
The hardest thing I’ve ever done required me to be transparent about the things that would cause me shame and most people would take to their graves.
And for the first time ever, the hardest things I’ve ever done will be featured in my memoir….coming sooner than you think.
